The US Open is a great tournament. Everybody seems to think Kaymer's got it wrapped up after 36 holes but there's still a long way to go. Not saying he's going to fold up but not saying he won't either. I think it's going to be a lot closer than most people think.


Golf's the best game in the world. Not many sports you can play into your 70s and 80s. I shot an 84 the other day and playing some of the best golf of my life and I've been playing since I was 12. Not to mention I'm hitting it farther than I ever have.


Now if I could only learn to chip well...
 

I only got to watch a little of the start then I was off to the range to hit a bucket and then practiced my chips and putting.  Swinging a driver has always been my biggest frustration.  I can't drive it straight with any consistency, but I'm pretty good with my long irons.  

 

I got away from golf for quite a few years and only recently picked it back up.  I agree, it's a great game.  One that can cause a lot of frustration some days, but I always enjoy myself.  I have a new set of irons being shipped in and I can't wait to get my hands on them.  I regripped my old irons but they're...old.  

 

Kaymer is golfing like a machine.  Barring a mental meltdown it's his to lose.
