Jeff Driskel Out For The Season
|
I hope all Gators fans liked watching Tyler Murphy play three and a half quarters because they will see more of him every week. After only hearing "right ankle" all game as Tracy Wolfson was not told his x-ray results, I read this diagnosis: broken fibula. So he actually has a lower right leg injury.
For anyone who did not watch that horrible play or see game highlights, it went like this: A Volunteer blindsided Driskel as he threw a pass, forcing an interception. The way that player hit Driskel's right ankle made his foot turn inside like feet do when ankles are sprained and he was able to walk to the sideline, but that was the last time his right foot touched the ground. From AOL Sports: Quote:Even if I was not a Gators fan, I would feel bad for Driskel. Nothing can be worse for a quarterback than breaking a bone and throwing a pick six on the same play.
