I know what DTs are supposed to do. When you draft someone at 10, you dont draft them to take up blockers, you draft them to stuff runs/ provide push/ apply pressure.

 

If Alualu was a 2nd or 3rd round pick, i doubt he would be here. Gene Smith gave him 32 mil, if he had a 2nd/ 3rd rounders salary, he would of been cut by now.

 

Looked better? He was BENCHED. How much better could he have played if he was benched? Better yet, if he did in fact play better than he had before, and STILL got benched, how does that make up a " solid " player?
