When a guy fails to reach 1000 yards it means he's not elite. He was pretty good, but never elite, and now that he's older and injured he's not going to be even as good as he was 3 years ago.

 

By your standard we should have Cecil Shorts equal to Reggie Wayne of 2011 and rate both of them as elite since his performances have come on the receiving end of Gabbert and Henne.
