It would be awesome if they put some nice condos mixed in with some unique higher end restaurants with a mix of pubs and clubs. Having a nice little casino couldn't hurt either.
The Pearl Brewery was a rotted out dust farm for decades in San Antonio. All of a sudden its a vibrant location with a whole new feel for the north end of the River Walk. Jacksonville could do something similar but a little more lively. Take a look: http://atpearl.com/about |
