As much as I will love watching the scoreboards, the shipyard project is much more important to Jacksonville. It may finally give Jacksonville a cool place to visit in the downtown vicinity. The only time I go downtown is for the stadium and occasionally the Times Union Center...and when I do that, I typically am in and out. If there is going to be stores, restaurants, and entertainment right on the shipyard it can turn around quickly. |
