I'll agree that they were better off not making the trade, though. They'd have been better off just keeping Forsberg. 

 

I'd compare the Flyers trade with Quebec (aka ... Colorady Avalanche) to be equivalent to the Vikings obtaining Hershel Walker from the Cowboys.  Perhaps neither Lindros or Hershel can be considered the biggest busts in their sports but the impact their trades had on the teams they departed is almost equivalent.
