The key thing is to go out and interact with people.  While yes, some people have been successful in finding a partner via social media and/or dating sites, I personally can't believe that this is the only means for people to meet and get together.

 

I don't know the specifics of BigJag57's situation, and I really don't want to know.  It seems to me that it's probably a personal issue best left off of a public message board.
