oakland plays a lot of teams with good defenses. Mojos best games will probably be dolphins, browns, chiefs, and bills but the rest of those teams have though defenses and i know the chiefs had a good d last year but i think they lost a couple of playmakers on that side of the ball. On the other hand, gerhart should do well verses those teams with weaker defenses. Especially that cowboy game. Imo, I think the only games where the jags will struggle running the ball will be the texans games, the ravens, and the titans. Gerhart should do well in the rest of the games.  

 

I never said the Raiders didn't have the harder schedule... the Raiders play against Cards who were 1st against the run last year... plus they play against the no.3 (Jets), 4th (49ers) and a tie for the 7th spot with the Seahawks and Broncos who were both ranked 7th against the run... that's going to be tough for any back... but MOJO is splitting carries, barring injury, and he should be fresher not having to be the feature back every down like Gerhart...

 

Both play the same four teams this year... Dolphins (24th against the run), Chargers (29th), Browns (18th) and the Texan, who the Jags play twice (23rd)... to me those games could be a even in strength against the run for both teams...

 

We might get an early preview as how this is going to play out... the Raiders open up with the 3rd toughest team, against the run, the Jets while the Jags play the 10th best team against the run the Eagles... 

 

You say the Raiders play the Chiefs and list them as a hard game for MOJO... the Chiefs were 22nd against the run last year...

 

All of this is based on last years stats...I don't think we can go on just that because every team has changed by losing players and adding players... I still think MOJO will be the fresher of the two as the season wears on... Gerhart has never had to be the featured back where he's carried the load in the NFL... we don't know if he can or can not do it just yet... like I said...I think it will be interesting watching it play out...
