I'm thinking he is hooked on pills. Withdraw from opiates or benzos can take months to get over and make you physically ill. Both often involve a prolonged period of medical supervision and, especially benzos, require medication to counter serious and potentially lethal withdraw symptoms.

I want to agree with this so much, but it's not even the same. If you want weed everyday, it's because you want something to put your mind off the real world. It's not literally that you need specifically weed. It could be that you want weed, alcohol, or another drug.

 

Agreeing with the fact that there are no withdrawals and that it's all under your control. 

 

If this was something else, I don't care. Get rid of him, ASAP.
