I'm not saying this to judge anyone, as many of my friends and family have faced both physical and mental addictions. But you have to look at the lifestyles. The only thing that separates a weed addict from a coke addict is that the weed addict won't get physical withdrawal symptoms if he stops. But if you're using weed everyday (at least the people I've met who do)your income is predicated around financing it, your day is built around it, and it comes to be how you define yourself. And that's not a good thing.

Only for the weak minded. I've been smoking for 15 years. I've managed to perform well at my job, advance and make wage increases. I've raised children. There is much more difference between the "addicts" of cocaine and those who are "regular users" of marijuana.

 

Addicition is a state of mind that those too weak end up facing. Addiction is a mental disease.

 

I believe one could use cocaine, heroin, marijuana, alcohol, regularly and controlled and never be addicted.

 

Fact is, marijuana is "safer" in so many ways than alcohol and even caffeine (which is much more addictive than THC).

 

But don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion.
