Given that with Chris Polk's development, Bryce Brown will be expendable to them. They likely aren't keeping all 3 RB heading into next year, and McCoy ain't going anywhere. They initially acquired Brown via a 7th rounder, so a 4th rounder is decent return on their initial investment.


For the Jags point of view, they'd be getting a 22 soon to be 23 year old RB who has already shown flashes of being able to play at a high level in this league, as opposed to instead playing the college lottery for one.

Or perhaps he just isn't that good.


He's 3rd on the depth chart now because Polk clearly outplayed him all offseason and not to mention he's struggled with fumbles and dropped passes as well. I don't want to give up a 4th rounder for a guy who can't hold onto the ball or hold off an UDFA who clearly is better. In your scenario why not trade for Polk instead?
