You undervalue the team's intention to be competitive while transitioning.  And Shorts is still quite young -  you assume he has diminishing value while his best seasons may lie ahead.

 

This is off topic - so I'll leave you to your opinions and let the thread return to Sanders.
 

Caldwell is an excellent GM precisely because he's not concerning himself with how many games the Jaguars are winning or losing this season.

 

Shorts value is relative to the guys he's competing with, and I believe Lee and Robinson will make him expendable.

 

Now we can get back to Ace.
