There are plays where he is supposed to throw one of those quick screens, but he'll quickly decipher that the defense is playing the screen, and will go through his progressions and hit a receiver downfield. His accuracy is even better than Bridgewater's, too, IMO.

 

 

You really need to stop. You are absolutely awful at evaluating QBs. I am going to go out on a limb and say it's due to you being one of these new hipster Jameis fanboys. Teddy has insane pocket presence and constantly steps up in the pocket even if he is going to take a big hit. He is also amazing at going through his progressions when necessary.

 

And the fact that you think Mariota is more accurate...despite playing on arguably the best offensive team in college, while only averaging 56% completion IN an offense that feeds on option reads and screen passes, is hilarious. He has only thrown above 60% in once game this year
