That should have been a red flag right there,,,,

Hiring a head coach (with zero head coach experience) before hiring a GM is not a smart move.

Its one thing if you are hiring an accomplished head coach like an Andy Reid before then choosing a GM, but to hire a rookie coach like JDR and then expect to lure in an accomplished or highly qualified GM prospect??.....not likely.
