How often do you watch The NFL Network?

I watch NFLN or ESPN (NFL Insiders or NFL Today, or whatever it's called) for it's news content, not it's opinions from former players.

 

And since there is usually not much news on any given day, I find myself not watching any of it all that much.

 

I find myself reading more about the NFL than watching television. I enjoy reading information from journalists (Peter King, Don Banks, Mike Florio and PFT, a host of others, etc.)

 

I'm not saying all former NFL players are bad analysts, because they are not, but what are they going to tell me that I need to know, or that I don't already know?

 

I just want the news.
