A lot of poor people vote republican out of racism religious wedge issues, plus minority groups aren't well known for turning out to vote. Besides that the entire basis of your argument is moronic. Every politician tries to convince people they're giving them what they want. Whether that's crackpot right-wing getting government out of their business (except for getting government into women's uterus) or left-wing getting government to recognize their gay marriage. It's not really as simple as you seem to think. |
