Do they need to? The Tigers offense ranks:

5th in runs scored

2nd in batting average

3rd in on base percentage

2nd in slugging percentage

 

Don't think either will be asked to do much at the plate.

 

 

Also, a thing being overlooked is Price's ability to go late in games. This will help cover up the Tigers biggest issue, which is their bullpen.
