What Are Some Of The "promising" Signs That Caldwell Will Break The Trend Of Bad Gm's Here

#32

Cutting of older vets with bad contracts? Check

Letting questionable former draft picks walk(Knighton,Cox) instead of overpaying for them in FA? Check

Signing of solid Mid level FA who have ALL produced this season? Check

Trading away a player who was leaving anyways for at least something? Check

Offensive draft picks playing reasonable well? Check

Defensive draft picks pushing older veteran players for starting time and showing real potential (Evans,Mccray,Cyprien)? Check

Hired coach who appears to be able to motivate and get players buying into his specialty (defense)? Check

He pretty much acclomplished to perfection the first stage of a rebuild which is to stabilize one part of the team (defense in our case) while clearing up cap space and stockpiling picks for the upcoming draft. All while putting us in position to find a franchise QB.

The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
