I will say this, at least Calwell moves pieces and gets something in return.. In the past the Jags rejected late round picks for Leftwhich, a mid round rumor for Garrard, late round offer for Fred Taylor and a 4th for John Henderson on draft day to Philadelphia... I mean that's just stuff I remembered, I always felt like the Jags took nothing vs something.. I know they moved a few guys in the past Smith/Harris eras but Caldwell seems much more aggressive and this team could be average right now if they paid to keep a lot of different aging or average players that would have filled cap space... Caldwell has dumped or not resigned many of those c -grade or aging players
