Todman said in a interview recently that he was going to try to start working the inside more heavily- didn't see that last night. We have to be cognizant of the predictability that is occurring in our running game. If Gerhart's in, he's going to smash and crash up the middle, if Todman's in, he's going to work the outside. Defenses catch on to this.
I would have to put D-Rob as the top performer of the preseason game, and I feel, in general, he has a better shot of being able to work the outside as well as fight through the middle, if necessary. For the record, I still want Gerhart as the starter, but I would like to see D-Rob in that #2 spot.
