You might have missed it, since you apparently missed the holding penalty Branch drew on Dotson the play before. This is an instance where a fan might accuse Branch of "getting blocked" but the Jag coaches grade him positively because it's specifically his job to attack and tie up the guard so it frees Marks up. Just like a fan would accuse Branch of "getting blocked" on the Guy interception when it was specifically his responsibility to engage the offensive tackle and draw him up the field to clear the blitz lane for Telvin Smith, just as Marks equally "got blocked" by crashing down on the guard. |
