It's odd given the talent that Clowney represents that Crennell wouldn't make a similar move.

 

I think Watt could function well in a 4-3.

 

I think that the personnel there, provided that Cushing stays on the field, matches up very well with a 4-3. Watt can play the 3-technique, Clowney the Weakside End, Cushing the Mike, and so on. But I just don't think that Crennel will be able to get the most out of them.

 

And the odd thing about Belichik is that he has shown to be an adaptable coach, but not all that great of a talent acquisition man.
