I do think you should have some self-awareness of how little any of us really know, how often we're wrong about guys (etc) and keep that bit of humility about our opinions. This means saying what you think, but not championing it so hard that you want to bash the team for not doing it, or insulting posters who disagree. There are guys I like every draft that we don't take, and that's okay. It's possible that this other guy they took, who I don't know as well, is going to turn out better, is a better scheme fit, or had less red flags during research (etc). Just maybe they do know something I don't. When you just say "I like this guy, not that guy so much, here is why", I don't think you're going to get much push back. When you say "this guy is going to be all-pro in this league, the team is stupid for not taking him, and you are too if you can't see that", then yeah, you're asking for the push back. |
