Smith was reacting off the top of his head - always dangerous when you're on TV - but his reaction does help to show why people with depression can be reluctant to seek help. They'll be seen as less of a man, or whatever.
 

I'm not talking his way out -- I'm explaining exactly the way he did.


And people aren't seen as cowards because they need to seek help.  They're seen as cowards because they don't.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
