The Cliff's notes version is that conservative minded people tend to be motivated by fear and reward stimulus while liberal minded people tend to be motivated by emotion and empathy.

 

Of course we already could observe that empirically. (the "they're coming to take yer guns" crowd versus the "we need to help everyone have a chance in society" crowd)

Interesting how you try to portray one as a negative while the other seems so charitable.  What a joke.

 

"They're going to throw grandma off a cliff!"

 

"They're going to do away with Medicare and Medicaid!"

 

"They're going to destroy the Department of Education!"

 

"They hate Hispanic children!"
