Palin was a mistake.  Especially given Obama's choice for Veep.  McCain could have made several choices (more ready to step in if McCain were to die in office) that would make Biden look terrible.  Instead he went with someone with little to no recognition, someone who clearly couldn't handle the media, and someone who was too far north on the political compass 

 

  I'm not going to get into Obama's qualifications in this thread,  as it's way beyond the topic.

 

 As for Sarah Palin,  in fairness she didn't have the foreign policy knowledge that was needed at that time.   However,  despite that,  I strongly believe she was more knowledgable on that spectrum of issues than Obama.    The latter said that there are 57 states in the U.S.  and that Austrian is a language.

 

Regarding Joe " Jobs is a 3 letter Word " Biden,  despite decades of experience in the U.S. Senate,  he's incompetent.
