 As for Sarah Palin,  in fairness she didn't have the foreign policy knowledge that was needed at that time.   However,  despite that,  I strongly believe she was more knowledgable on that spectrum of issues than Obama.    The latter said that there are 57 states in the U.S.  and that Austrian is a language.

 

Regarding Joe " Jobs is a 3 letter Word " Biden,  despite decades of experience in the U.S. Senate,  he's incompetent.  

 

Of course he's incompetent.  Which is why it's mind boggling why McCain didn't pick someone who would look like gold next to him.  Someone with some recognition (so people wouldn't have to look up everything they've done, especially when they have a short track record), someone who could handle the media, and someone a little south on the political scale (to attract the more libertarian voters)
