Rush supported any candidate that wasn't 0bama in both 2008 and 2012.  He's going to deal with the hand he's dealt, and ultimately the focus in both elections was to win with truly weak candidates. 

 

As far as Michael Savage goes, I can't stand listening to the guy.  As you pointed out, he is all over the place.  Plus, he's got a real infatuation with the other guys on talk radio or on TV.  He's constantly talking about them and trying to blow his numbers up as if he's among the big dogs in radio talk.  He's a 2nd tier guy at best, and one of the more abrasive people on radio.  If you want someone who is concise, genuinely conservative, and a fierce voice for the right, there's the Great One.  He's not for everyone, but he's the most consistent of the bunch.
