Gina Toretta is "recent history"? He won the Heisman 21 years ago.

 

All kidding aside, the Heisman is more of an MVP trophy than one given to the nation's best player. RGIII is one of the exceptions and he has been good in the NFL. Guys like Toretta, Jason White and Matt Leinart had no business winning.
