I could be remembering wrong, though.
No, your recollection is pretty much spot on.  Garrard was athletic, had a good arm, and could make all the plays.  The downfall in his game was always the mental aspect where he struggled to recognize defenses.  Gabbert wasn't much better at checking out of plays.  Henne isn't bad, and has been given the freedom to change the play at the line based on what he sees, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they're letting Blake do the same when he's out there.
