BUT don't you think it's a bit hypocritical to tell people to slow down on hyping a guy up, and then call a bunch of guys you'd never seen play "potential franchise QBs" based on draft projections, effectively just buying into the hype of said projections? 

 

Even if we use you're projection logic, there's almost a consensus that Bridgewater is projected to go 1st overall, there's usually an agreement on a QB going that high when they are believed to be the next great prospect at that position. 

because 2nd round qb prospects can also be "potential franchise qbs" which is believed in the nfl for the most part, whereas the hype in this board concerning teddy was that hes above rg3 and a tad below luck as a prospect, which i havent seen mentioned as much in this board than outside or media, though ive been checking.
