Just start Bortles already
|
The din to start Bortles is reaching epic levels.
Put aside what the fans want to do for the moment. Supposedly impartial observers are increasingly urging the Jaguars to start Bortles. On ESPN's sportscenter last night (and you may be able to see this clip this morning), former Dallas Cowboys SS and 3 time Super Bowl champion Darren Woodson was arguing for Bortles to start soon, if not opening day. In his segment, he showed how quickly Bortles got rid of the ball, even on longer passes, holding the ball no longer than 2.73 seconds on any of the four passes. Of course, Prisco has been pushing for him to start from the beginning. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/pete...ason-night Quote: This article from CNNSi.'s Chris Burke. http://www.si.com/nfl/2014/08/22/blake-b...eason-2014 As posted earlier, NFL.com's Chad Sessler... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...or-jaguars Worst to 1st.
