I admit that when they announced the pick, my initial reaction was "Nooooooo god please no!!" at the draft Party at the stadium.
I also freely admit that I didn't "study" Blake Bortles at all. To me, Blake sounded a lot like Blaine (the name itself) and I wanted no part of that. I also was worried that he shot up the draft boards simply because he had a good pro-day, which I thought was meaningless. I was very wrong. As soon as I started watching his highlights, I could see what the Jaguars saw. I will GLADLY eat my crow. Good job Caldwell.
