I remember reading a few weeks ago - some NFL metrics regarding success at the QB position and while obviously more goes into it than just size, size indeed was a correlating factor. 

 

Bortles has the prototypical size, yet still is mobile, and also carries the accuracy (best deep accuracy of the draft class) as well as the arm strength. In addition to those, he's very poised, calm and intelligent, yet still ultra competitive. He really has very little weaknesses, when you watch him play. 

 

I wish I would have gave Bortles more consideration prior to the draft. I think at the time I was close minded because of the Gabbert thing so I was sort of shutting out any QB that even had remote similarities to him. (in this case they were more phyiscal than anything) but still....
