You bet; that's why he was so productive at Miami all while possessing relatively average athletic ability, the same goes for Keenan Allen while he was at Cal. Some guys just have a niche for getting open, setting up defensive backs and quickly getting in/out of breaks, that's what made Jerry Rice so great, defensive backs had no idea what route he was running because they all looked the same, that's the true beauty of that position Imo. We all love speed and guys that can jump high, but at the end of the day; Can the guy play? The answer seems to be yes with Allen.
