I did not say possible injury is the only reason to do it. I am just saying that is an obvious benefit even if he never starts a game this year and could be one of the things a smart coaching staff would think about.

 

It does not clearly mean we plan to start the Blake Bortles era this season. Anyone who says it means that is making an assumption. Now maybe that will happen. But the possibility of that happening is not guaranteed at this point. If we had already planned to change quarterbacks sometime this season Gus Bradley would have said that in a press conference.
