To be fair, he's getting paid around 5 Million dollars and probably wouldn't have an opportunity to start many other places.  Unless he has the illusion that he's way better than he actually is, there's no reason to say anything or have a bad attitude about it.  He'll likely have a career as a backup after he gets benched (whenever that is) and it's hard to complain about that.  I'd gladly take 7 figures to help plan out a game that I loved and be ready to step up if the guy in front of me went down.
