His hit is $4 million, but I get your point.  I tend to think Henne does feel he can be a better QB than his career stats may indicated.  I don't think he's fully committed himself to life as a backup.  He's still young enough that he may feel he has an opportunity to land somewhere to compete as a starter.  In the interim, you take what is presented.
