Anyone Else Starting To Think Lee Might Bust?

I have no idea why the Eagles cut Jimmy Smith. All I know is that prior to the 1994 season, Jimmy Smith was cut by two NFL teams. Smith worked out for three more (Green Bay, Kansas City, and New England) but none of them called him back. I'm glad Tom Coughlin saw the low-risk/high-reward and took a flier on Smith.
I did find this, though: http://articles.philly.com/1994-08-08/sp...y-pasquale "Smith, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound free agent who signed with the Eagles on July 19, also caught two passes for 32 yards, though he dropped two others that were catchable." |
