Any updates on Blackmon?

Quote:Why, because they smartly drafted WR's?Justin Blackmon can apply for reinstatement after November 1 (Week 9) of the 2014 season. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/7402...n-blackmon You need to back off with your personal attack against me. I'm as real a fan as anyone else. The Jags position last year was that they were planning as if he wouldn't be on the roster. That was before being busted in July for marjuana. The current staff (Dave Caldwell) did not draft him anyway, Gene Smith did, so DC was not covering anything. They are being smart with the situation. If, by some miracle, JB is reinstated and actually in shape to play and can keep his nose clean (pun intended) then it MAY be beneficial to the Jags. Yes, as a human being, I also hope he gets his life together first and foremost. Secondly, I believe it is extremely unlikely he plays football again. The kid's mind isn't right and his heart is not in the sport IMHO. |
