A problem they'll face is the premier GM prospects won't like the idea of coming in with a coach already in place, so do they dump Billy O, take a second tier GM prospect, or just stick with what they have for 3 more seasons?

OB was more McNair's guy than Smith's. Smith liked the hire but he was reportedly more interested in Lovie Smith and Whisenhunt. I would have been ok with any of those two hired but I think O'Brien deserved an NFL head coaching gig so I'm glad we have it to him.


I see our division becoming respectable again fairly soon. As much as it may pain me to say it, I'll humbly admit that I can see the Jaguars finishing second in the division with an 8-8/9-7 record, depending on how soon Bortles takes over and how well he does of course. The Texans will finish between 6-10/8-8, and the Titans will probably finish similar to us, maybe slightly lower since I do think we're the better team over them as long as we get decent QB play(which of course might be asking too much lol).
