Another thing I don't like about Mariota is he seems to go to his first read a lot, which I am sure is by design in that goofy offense they run up there. If Chip Kelly was our head coach, it would be one thing to want Mariota (because the systems would be similar and less of a learning curve for Mariota from college to pro level) , but he's not. Mariota would be a flat out project in our offense. Bridgewater (or similar QB) is a much better fit for what we need. |
