No, but you don't think they are conversing throughout the game? I could easily see Gus give Fisch the order to "burn some clock"...regarding the types of playcalling he at that point changed to. 

 

I can't prove it either, but it sure seems plausible. 

 

As said, the head coach in fact does make those kind of calls. Fisch wouldn't have that sort of autonomy, I don't think.
