The New Usual Suspects^TM seem to have canned their responses well in advance no matter what actually happens on the field.  Predictable, and will be interesting to continue to watch going forward.

 

No, he didn't.  The defense played out of their mind in the first half and gave the team the edge.  They couldn't repeat that performance in half 2 and we saw Chad Henne play like he has for years.  Inconsistent. There were a number of aspects that contributed to the fallout in the 2nd half and you're foolish to say Henne played well enough to win.  That's a copout answer.  He's not good enough to be an NFL starter.  Period.  He's shown that for what, 7 plus years now?

 

Call me what you want with your little childish names but it doesn't make your opinion anymore right.  I've been consistent with my opinion that Henne isn't good enough for a while now.  It's not a canned response, it's the truth.  The team feeding us their line of crap about being confident in Chad annoys me even more.

 

I'd bet the players don't have the same confidence in Henne as a starter.  We won't know it because nobody is going to be dumb enough to come out and say it but how could that not be the case?  These are men who are competitive by nature and want to win.  You don't think their effort can be influenced by having Chad Henne vs the young rookie that played very well in the preseason?  They know what they have in Henne and it isn't good enough.  I don't care what you call me or what you say, that's the absolute truth.
