Who do you nominate for Donkey of the Game?

Quote:You got that right with the first sentence.... OK, I don't want to sound like a broken record here... But I want to say that when the game plan was loose and agressive Henne was throwing the ball alot different. In the 2nd half when things tightened up in regards to the offensive scheme, Henne literally looked like he was trying to pop the ball with his grip. You mention the batted passess. They showed a replay of a batted pass, and I was watching Henne's grip and his motion. He really looked like he was wound so tight to be perfect with the ball that he just didn't look relaxed like he did in the 1st and 2nd Quarters... I don't know, that's obviously on Henne. But if a coach is whispering in your ear to reign it in and that you MUST not make any mistakes, it can have an effect on a lesser QB. Henne is a lesser QB, but when things are loose, he actually plays respectable. I'm just wondering if maybe next week, they just keep the gas on, we might have a better result. Yes, keeping the play calling aggressive and loose may result in turn-overs, but hey, maybe now that we have these special WRs things will be different for Henne.... |
