Plain and simple, Bradley squandered this game away.

Quote:You have to take risks if you want to win.  At that point a touchdown would have only tied the game.  Punt it, and they run down the clock, and maybe get a field goal (or even a TD).  They take 4:00+ off the clock, and get a field goal, suddenly you have 2:00 to get two scores.  That means more than likely making an onside kick.  (FTR Even from their field position, they took 4:00 off the clock, so it's not unreasonable to suppose with worse field position they take off 4:30 and get that field goal.  At which point you're left with 1:30 to get two scores)

Agreed. It was a gamble Gus made that was necessary. Young team. The offense was struggling. They had to go for it. Henne rushed the throw and just missed making the play. Even if he had, there was still no guarantee they drive it down the field.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
