Henne has always had flashes of being a starter but you can't miss a wide open tight end in the flat on a fourth and one play! He had no pressure and  Gus was trying to get the defense a breather. The play call was perfect the QB execution was horrid. Theses are the type of plays that kills wins. I didn't think the o-line did a bad job on pass persecution as a whole but failed terrible on opening running lanes. That said I don't think, the we have to wait for the O-line to jell to prevent Blake being at the mercy of defenses is a valid  augment. You have to score more then twenty points to win most games in the NFL and thats just not been the case in most games quarterbacked by Henne. I think cip was the main reason for the collapse in the defense in the second haft and it does not bode well next week if he is held out for injury reasons. Mr. Khan you spent a lot of money for the fans game day experience and if we have a poor showing on offense next week you need to instruct the coaching staff that a QB change be made for opening day. All the pools in the world will not negate the fans dissatisfaction with keeping the best quarterback on the bench. We can accept losing with the quarterback of the future while he gets experience he can only get starting but not losing with the quarterback of the past.
