Coaching contributed to this loss as well.  Sort of sounds like this might have been a team loss after all. 

 

Fisch was slow to get plays called, especially in the 2nd half, forcing us to burn timeouts unnecessarily.  Gus should have called a timeout on that play when the line was slow to get set, but he didn't, and I'm not even sure if he would have had adequate time to do so based on how quickly Philly got to the line.  Knowing the pace they use in games, they should have been better prepared to get to the line and get set.  It's not like Philly's quick pace on offense is a mystery. 

The play calling on Offense was really bad in the 2nd half, I mean 4th and inches why not QB sneak but to be fair to Fisch the Play Action worked as Chad Henne had no pressure and time to throw to an open M. Lewis whom droped the ball on a bad pass....

 

Chad even smacked the ball as a gesture to say to Lewis you ready.. epic fail from both of them on a critical play.. but still 6:34 secs left in a game where you are only down by 7 at the opponets 20 if you didnt have confidence in running for inches on 4th they shouldve punted and not risked that throw....

 

It was a team fail... Chad did some good stuff and some bad... which I think was true from most of the players... some played great throughout the game, and some played bad the entire time....

players get injured and we knew this team doesnt have depth... especially at certain positions and Safety is one of them..
