You know, if they are so worried about protecting Bortles until he's ready, well henne is one injury away from jeopardizing that plan. This is what i don't understand. If this is the course of action, and they have conviction, Bortles should be 3rd string and someone else should be stop gap QB until he is "ready". I think he's ready now, but i don't get paid the big bucks to make those decisions. If they are true to the plan, he shouldn't be the back up, doesn't make sense.
